Qualifications: We have two National Playground Safety
Institute-certified playground safety inspectors on staff;
Mike
Wood, CPSI, with 34 years experience, and Steve Wagner, CPSI,
with 23 years experience.

Fees: Our fees for a playground safety inspection are based on
many factors, including driving distance and complexity or size
of the area to be inspected. Please contact us for a quote.
Experience: Our inspectors have the depth of experience in this
field to help you find the shortest path to getting your
playground upgraded to meet state playground safety
regulations.
CPSI background: Playground safety inspector certification
classes were developed by the National Park and Recreation
Association's NPSI and are based on the Consumer Products
Safety Commission's guidelines for public playground safety.
Please note that the "I" in CPSI stands for "Inspector," not
"Installer." The certification process is for site inspection, not
installation.
The Michigan Legislature passed The Playground Safety Act in
1997 that adopted CPSC and ASTM guidelines in place at that
time. SB0623 of 2007 has been introduced to amend the 1997 Act.
